VALORCAR regularly promotes public awareness, information and education initiatives on the management of End-of-Life Vehicles and Battery Waste, including their components and materials. Several actions were carried out in this matter throughout September.
On the 6th, VALORCAR participated in the Global Mobility 2022 conference, in a panel on the circular economy in the automotive industry, organized by MOBINOV and held at the Centro Cultural de Belém.
Between the 23rd and 25th, VALORCAR was present at the 15th edition of GREENFEST, one of the biggest national events on sustainability, which took place on the campus of Universidade Nova SBE in Carcavelos.
On the 27th, VALORCAR participated in an academic seminar on the treatment processes for End of Life Vehicles, with a special focus on conventional and electric vehicles dismantling, as well as on the resulting material flows. The seminar took place at FCUL - Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon and was attended by 3rd year students of Energy and Environmental Engineering, as well as PhD students.
