VALORCAR should undertake efforts to create a nationwide network of ELV collection and dismantling centres (VALORCAR NETWORK) in accordance with the criteria established in the legal framework and in its licenses – a minimum of 60 centres in continental Portugal, 1 in Madeira and 2 in the Azores.

The selection procedure for the future VALORCAR NETWORK centres is carried out via tenders opened on a yearly basis in March. These tenders are audited by independent authorities and the Portuguese Environment Protection Agency is notified of their results.
