During the first half of 2024, 55,696 End-of-Life Vehicles (ELV) were recycled in Portugal. This number represents an increase of 4.6% compared to the same period in 2023.
Regarding the ELV received nationally, the average age increase trend continues, set at 24,7 years, which reflects the aging of the national fleet.
During the first six months of the year, VALORCAR NETWORK also collected 10,389 tons of lead battery waste, which represents a decrease of 2.2% compared to the same period in 2023.
Currently, VALORCAR NETWORK has 399 battery waste collection centers, 333 of which are also ELV dismantling centers.
