VALORCAR remains committed to training employees at VALORCAR NETWORK centers. In 2024, the following certified training actions were carried out: 6 actions on removing and opening batteries from electric vehicles (in collaboration with EVolution, Bombóleo and Saber Sem Limites Academy), 8 actions on End-of-Life Vehicle Dismantling Operator and Battery Waste Collection (in collaboration with Safetykleen and Saber Sem Limites Academy) and 2 courses in Technical Interventions in Automotive Air Conditioning Systems (in collaboration with Saber Sem Limites Academy).
These practical trainings took place in the facilities of dismantling centers or specialized workshops, located in Aveiro, Braga, Faro, Lisbon, Porto, Santarém and Vila Real districts and in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, and were attended by more than 130 trainees from various VALORCAR NETWORK centers.
In addition, 1 session on the Administrative Requirements Applicable to the management of end-of-life vehicles and battery waste by the centers was carried out in video conference format, which had more than 100 participants, and also 2 actions on dangerous goods transport – ADR Base certification (in collaboration with Logisformação).
Until the end of 2024, another course on Technical Interventions in Automotive Air Conditioning Systems and 2 actions on removing and opening batteries from electric vehicles are planned.
