On November 6th, VALORCAR promoted a technical session on the administrative and operational procedures associated with the scrapping of vehicles, in which employees from the Portuguese Environment Agency - APA, as well as students and teachers from the Environmental Engineering course at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
This iniciative took place in Camarate, at the MÁRIO GUIOMAR facilities, in which the administrative procedures associated with the issuance of the certificate of destruction on the National Platform for the Issuance of Destruction Certificates were described, as well the IT connection between this platform and the IT system of the Mobility Institute. In addition, mandatory ELV depollution and dismantling operations were monitored and various topics related to the management of End-of-Life Vehicles and Battery Waste were also addressed.
